Financial Accessibility

Finding quality care for a loved one, no matter if they are human or a companion animal, can be difficult in these times both financially and emotionally. Especially in today’s economic strain, we do not wish to see families torn a part because they cannot afford positive reinforcement dog training and/or they do not have access to humane dog training in their area. Through both our virtual and in-person services, we aim to provide:

  • Payment plans for those who qualify for behavior sessions post consultations

  • Access to free and/or low cost webinars, meet-ups, and articles

  • A partnership with pet insurance companies for training reimbursement (**We are in process of this!)

  • Application for a monthly Scallywag Scholarship (**We are in the process of this too!!)

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion means that we want to focus on mentoring as well providing affordable training to those who:

  • are a person who experiences discrimination and/or violence related to systematic oppression

  • have medical expenses, been denied work, or experience discrimination related to ableism

  • are eligible for public assistance

  • have immigration-related expenses

  • are a sex worker who experiences occupational discrimination (personal or legislative)

  • are an unpaid community organizer

  • are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history

  • are supporting children or have other dependents

We acknowledge that our services might still not be affordable for some. Please understand that we are offering a model that we feel is sustainable for our small business at this time. For more information about our behavioral session payment plans, please contact us at thescallywagdog@gmail.com on how we can best service you and/or connect you with resources and organizations within the community to keep you and your furry loved one together.
